Terms of Service

1. The Service

Auditex provides compliance infrastructure for AI-driven decisions. The Service captures, stores, and exports structured records of automated decisions made by your AI systems, including reasoning, metadata, policy mappings, and evidence bundles.

2. Accounts and access

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and portal credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@auditex.ca if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Each tenant account is isolated at the database level. You may not attempt to access records belonging to another tenant.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse engineer the Service; transmit malicious code; submit data you do not have the right to process; or resell the Service without our written consent.

4. Data and privacy

You retain ownership of all decision data you submit to the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. You are responsible for ensuring any personal data you submit complies with applicable privacy laws. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Immutability and records

Decision records created through the Service are immutable — they cannot be edited or deleted once written. This is a core feature designed to support audit integrity. You should not submit data that you intend to modify after capture.

6. Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of liability

Auditex's total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
