Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect only what's needed to run the Service. We don't sell your data. Decision records you submit belong to you. You can request deletion at any time.

1. Information we collect

We collect your email and company name for your account, decision data you submit via API, API request logs (timestamp, endpoint, response code) for security, and support communications. We do not log request bodies in standard logs.

2. How we use your information

To provide and improve the Service, authenticate you, send transactional emails, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your decision data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not serve advertising.

3. Data storage and security

Data is stored on servers in Canada or the United States. We use TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel. Decision records are immutable by design.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, you may request an export within 30 days. After 30 days we will delete your data from active systems. Backups may persist for up to 90 days.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers under data processing agreements, when required by law, or in the event of a business transfer.

6. Your rights (PIPEDA)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@auditex.ca. You may also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. EU users (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing. Our legal basis for processing is contractual necessity. Contact hello@auditex.ca for GDPR requests.

8. Cookies

The portal uses a single session cookie for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics that track individual users.
